Terms of Use

1. Scope and provider

These terms govern the use of the TLFX website, the issuing of free licenses for the Expert Advisors presented here, and the paid custom development services offered via the Hire me page. The provider of this website is the person named in the imprint ("TLFX", "I", "me"). By requesting a license or sending a development enquiry you accept these terms.

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their commercial or self-employed professional activity.

2. The free license model

TLFX provides licenses for its free Expert Advisors at no charge. In return, the user opens a live trading account with one of the partner brokers listed on this site, using the affiliate links provided. The license is issued at TLFX's discretion after the partner-broker account has been verified. There is no legal entitlement to the issuing of a license.

3. How the license agreement is concluded

By submitting the request form you make an offer to receive a free license. You can download the Expert Advisor immediately after submitting, but it only becomes usable once TLFX has reviewed and approved the request and activated the license for your partner-broker MT5 account number; until then the software refuses to run. No payment is processed on this website for the free Expert Advisors.

4. License terms

You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable usage license for each Expert Advisor. Each license is bound to the partner-broker MT5 account number provided by the user. The software may not be resold, redistributed, rented out, decompiled, reverse-engineered or shared with third parties. TLFX and the respective licensor retain all intellectual property rights in the Expert Advisors.

5. ORB Revolution EA (paid product)

ORB Revolution EA is not part of the free license model. It is sold exclusively through its own official external website. Any purchase, payment, delivery, warranty and statutory right of withdrawal for ORB Revolution EA are handled entirely by that external website under its own terms — not by TLFX.

6. Custom development services (Hire me)

Separately from the free license model, I offer paid, individual development of Expert Advisors and indicators via the Hire me page.

The prices shown are non-binding guide ranges, not an offer. They illustrate what comparable past projects cost. Sending the enquiry form places you under no obligation and does not conclude a contract. A contract is concluded only once I have provided you with an individual quote covering the scope, the milestones, the timeline and a fixed price, and you have accepted it in text form.

Minimum order value. I accept custom development orders from an order value of €100. Enquiries below that are declined.

Payment and invoicing. Payment is made directly to me by invoice; there is no third-party escrow. Larger projects are split into milestones agreed in the quote, and each milestone is invoiced separately once it has been delivered, so you pay only for work already provided. Smaller projects are usually invoiced in full on delivery. Invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice (14 days from the invoice date unless agreed otherwise in the quote).

Deliverables and rights. Unless agreed otherwise, each completed project is delivered as the compiled, ready-to-run product file together with its full source code. On full payment you receive an unrestricted, perpetual right to use, modify and further develop the delivered work for your own purposes. I remain entitled to reuse the general know-how, techniques and non-project-specific code components used in producing it. I do not resell or reuse the trading strategy you specify.

Scope, not outcome. The subject of the contract is the implementation of the specification we agree — not any trading result. I give no warranty that a strategy is or remains profitable (see the Disclaimer). Defects, meaning deviations from the agreed specification, are remedied by me free of charge. Additional functionality that was not part of the agreed scope is a new order.

7. Affiliate relationship

TLFX is an affiliate partner of the brokers featured on this site and may receive a commission when a user opens an account through the provided links. This does not create any additional cost for the user. TLFX is not the broker, does not hold client funds and is not a party to the contract between the user and the broker.

8. Trading risks, no investment advice and liability

The Expert Advisors and any information on this website do not constitute investment advice. Trading carries a high level of risk and can lead to the total loss of your invested capital. The full risk warning, the responsibility of the broker, technical risks, the nature of automated trading and the limitation of liability are set out in the separate Disclaimer, which forms an integral part of these terms.

9. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

The free Expert Advisors are provided at no charge, so no statutory right of withdrawal arises from them. For the paid ORB Revolution EA, any right of withdrawal is governed by the external website through which it is sold (see section 5).

Custom development. If you are a consumer, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for contracts concluded at a distance. Because each project is produced to your individual specification, this right is restricted: for work made to your specification it may be excluded under § 312g(2) BGB, and where the deliverable is digital content the right lapses once I begin performance provided you have expressly requested that I start before the withdrawal period ends and have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. So that this is clear and documented, I will set out the withdrawal terms for your specific order in text form together with the quote and, where work is to begin early, obtain your express request and acknowledgement before starting. Any withdrawal right that mandatorily remains is unaffected.

10. Choice of law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection granted by mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. The contract language is English.

11. Changes to these terms

TLFX may update these terms at any time. The version published on this page at the time of use applies.
